Newland Medical Practice is delighted to become part of the Primary Care Research Network, which is one of the organisations that the NHS uses to conduct research.

We hope to take part in high quality medical research which helps improve the health and wellbeing of the nation.

Please note taking part in any study is entirely voluntary and if you decline to take part it will not affect your current or future treatment in any way.

DOCMAIL

We use Docmail, a secure mailing service, for sending out some information letters when we need to contact large numbers of patients for a research project.

You may receive a letter inviting you to participate in a study that the practice is involved in. If you wish to participate the free phone contact details of the study organiser will be in the letter and a free post envelope included for your reply. The study organisers will not have any of your details unless you chose to respond.

The company is fully compliant with Data Protection laws and meets the rigorous requirements laid down by the Department of Health.
